Learn to Race Course

This two day novice racing camp teaches participants all the necessary skills for bike handling, group riding and road racing.  We recommend that all new MBRC members participate in this course.
Note: Participants must attend both days to complete the course

Required Equipment:
  • Road bicycle with drop handlebars (regular handlebars) in good working order
  • ANSI, Snell, or C.S.A. approved bicycle helmet
  • Warm clothing suitable for cycling
  • Bagged lunch or money to buy lunch (Snacks and water will be available during the course)

MBRC membership is not required.
1Age on December 31, 2008.  Riders 13 or 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during activities.

Learn to Race Enrollment

There are two different forms that are required to enroll in the course, the online application form and the OCA insurance waiver. Please complete the following steps.

  • Step 1. Submit an online application
  • Step 2. Complete and sign the CCA/OCA waiver PDF
  • Step 3. Mail the completed waiver and a cheque for the applicable course fees to:
