I'm hoping to go but I won't decide until early September.  It depends on whether I can get the family to go down with me and I've been able to put in enough miles to make a reasonable attempt at it.  There's also a 3 GAP 50 miler for those who are interested but don't want to go 100 miles.

This is only held if the original Mt. Washington Auto Road Bicycle Race is sold out (you can bet on it).  This is held on July 12, 2008.

Perhaps the toughest hill climb in the world.  7.6 miles at 12% grade, extended sections at 18% and the last yards at 22%.  You can only cycle up it, you cannot cycle down (need proof that you have a ride in a car down before you can go up).  Limited to 600 cyclists and sellout fast.

I drove this last year and it was scarier going up than driving down!  People who are afraid of heights or not good drivers, do not drive on this road!
