This year RFK is one week later than usual. Hopefully it won't rain again this year like the last two years!
A great ride! If you never done this before or have not ridden in a large group, take our Lear to Race course (its really a Bike Handling and ride in a group course) and join our club to get ready to do the RFK. I did RFK 3 years ago and I was not prepared at all, I came in when everyone was leaving. It took me over 7 hrs to finish! The next year, I did the Learn to Race and joined the club and I did finished it in about 5 hrs 26 mins. Last year I did it under 5 hrs and finished with the first group of riders to get back.
If you never done a Charity Century Ride, do this. Well organized, great food, great people, great cause (support of children camps for kids with cancer).
